Air dry small rugs by default. Use low heat only when the care label allows machine drying.

Care-label caveats
- Do not machine wash wool, jute, antique, handmade, large, or spot-clean-only rugs.
- Rubber backing and adhesives can break down in hot water or high dryer heat.
- Check for color bleeding before washing.
